Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION OF THE COOK COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS RECOGNIZING SHIRLEY WILSON FOR HER DEDICATION TO HER COMMUNITY WHEREAS, Shirley Wilson was born January 1st, 1933 in Iowa City, Iowa, and; WHEREAS, Shirley Wilson was blessed with five children, two boys, and three girls, and; WHEREAS, she has volunteered for the Park District for 37 years, and has been a main volunteer and a member of Hope Community Church, and; WHEREAS, Shirley Wilson is the Treasurer of Iowa Block Club, member of Sr. Bible Study of Hope Church, Deaconess at Hope Church, Craft Instructor with Sisters of the Hood, After School Program Craft Teacher, and a member of the Neighborhood Watch program, and; WHEREAS, Ms. Wilson hand makes slippers and distributes them to shelters across the community, and; WHEREAS, Ms. Wilson has worked closely with elected officials of the Austin Community to solve problems in the Austin Community. A RESOLUTION OF THE COOK COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS RECOGNIZING SHIRLEY WILSON FOR HER DEDICATION TO HER COMMUNITY

 

WHEREAS, Shirley Wilson was born January 1st, 1933 in Iowa City, Iowa, and;

 

WHEREAS, Shirley Wilson was blessed with five children, two boys, and three girls, and;

 

WHEREAS, she has volunteered for the Park District for 37 years, and has been a main volunteer and a member of Hope Community Church, and;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Cook County Board of Commissioners to commend Shirley Wilson for her years of service in her community and the sincere appreciation of the President and the Cook County Board of Commissioners is extended to Shirley Wilson for her service to her church and the wider community.
