Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION PILGRIM BAPTIST CHURCH OF SOUTH CHICAGO 100TH ANNIVERSARY WHEREAS, Pilgrim Baptist Church of South Chicago is celebrating its 100th anniversary as a spiritual beacon on Chicago's south side; and WHEREAS, Pilgrim Baptist Church of South Chicago will celebrate this milestone with dinner and entertainment on Friday, September 22nd, 2017, and WHEREAS, Pastor Corwin Lasenby, Sr., his wife Tracey, and their three children: Ashley, Corwin, Jr. and Cody continue to serve other families and individuals in need; and WHEREAS, the members of Pilgrim Baptist Church of South Chicago's congregation, both past and present, also deserve kudos during this joyous centennial celebration. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the President and the Cook County Board of Commissioners, on behalf of the residents of Cook County, recognize the pastor, the first family and membership of the Pilgrim Baptist Church of South Chicago and their essential contribution to the health and viab...

PILGRIM BAPTIST CHURCH OF SOUTH CHICAGO 100TH ANNIVERSARY

 

WHEREAS, Pilgrim Baptist Church of South Chicago is celebrating its 100th anniversary as a spiritual beacon on Chicago’s south side; and

 

WHEREAS, Pilgrim Baptist Church of South Chicago will celebrate this milestone with dinner and entertainment on Friday, September 22nd, 2017, and

 

WHEREAS, Pastor Corwin Lasenby, Sr., his wife Tracey, and their three children: Ashley, Corwin, Jr. and Cody continue to serve other families and individuals in need; and

 

WHEREAS, the members of Pilgrim Baptist Church of South Chicago’s congregation, both past and present, also deserve kudos during this joyous centennial celebration.
