Summary: The Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court is requesting to enter into a contract for maintenance and technical support of the close circuit TV (CCTV) System installed at various locations throughout the County. This contract would allow ESSI to continue to support and maintain security cameras to monitor daily cash and credit card transactions processed by the Clerk of the Circuit Court staff, and provide security coverage throughout the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court. The current system is operated on ESSI’s proprietary software that was installed at the initial implementation in FY 2003 with the existing cashiering system. The Clerk of the Circuit Court, the Office of the Chief Procurement Office and the Bureau of Technology are working to determine steps needed to develop a new solicitation that would identify a new system.
This is a Sole Source Procurement pursuant to Section 34-139 of the Cook County Procurement Code.
