Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION HONORING AL RABY HIGH SCHOOL'S VARSITY FOOTBALL TEAM FOR ADVANCING TO THE STATE SEMIFINALS WHEREAS, Al Raby High School is a school known for community and environment is located on the West Side of Chicago, IL; and WHEREAS, Al Raby High School has been educating Chicago students for 13 years, being founded in 2004 after Albert Raby who was a teacher at Chicago's Hess Upper Grade Center; and, WHEREAS, Al Raby High School Varsity football team were pursuing to make it to their first championship game in Al Raby High School history; and WHEREAS, Despite the loss Al Raby High School Varsity football team became the first West Side team to advance to the state semifinals; and WHEREAS, Al Raby High School's Varsity football team ended the overall season with 12-2, conference 4-1 and state ranking as 69; and WHEREAS, Coach D'angelo Dereef believes his program is headed in the right direction, and the team has brought positivie coverage to the school and neighborh...

HONORING AL RABY HIGH SCHOOL’S VARSITY FOOTBALL TEAM FOR ADVANCING TO THE STATE SEMIFINALS

 

WHEREAS, Al Raby High School is a school known for community and environment is located on the West Side of Chicago, IL; and

 

WHEREAS, Al Raby High School has been educating Chicago students for 13 years, being founded in 2004 after Albert Raby who was a teacher at Chicago’s Hess Upper Grade Center; and,

 

WHEREAS,  Al Raby High School Varsity football team were pursuing to make it to their first championship game in Al Raby High School history; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Cook County Board of Commissioners that the Varsity football team of Al Raby High School are to be recognized and congratulated for the achievement of making it to the state semifinals.
