He was a proud graduate of DePaul & Northwestern University, a former employee of Arthur Anderson, a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, a member of the National Association of Black Accountants, the National Association of Black MBA's, and a Prince Hall Mason. HONORING THE LIFE OF FREDRICK "FRED" GEORGE FLOYD JONES

WHEREAS, Mr. Fredrick George Floyd Jones would accept his heavenly call February 28, 2018; not only is this the loss of a devoted son and brother, but a treasured friend, advisor, entrepreneur, and faithful servant; and

WHEREAS, Fredrick George Floyd Jones had a passion for education, capitalism, and politics. He was a proud graduate of DePaul & Northwestern University, a former employee of Arthur Anderson, a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, a member of the National Association of Black Accountants, the National Association of Black MBA's, and a Prince Hall Mason. Fredrick George Floyd Jones has walked many miles in this journey of life; and

WHEREAS, Fredrick, affectionately known as "Kapitalist1", lived an unselfish life having a patriarchal presence; by dedicating his time, resources, and love to all those he believed in and trusted. Often he would share his favorite quote "You measure what you have to gain by what you have to lose." As he took on the role of educating and advising his friends, family, and leaders from various sectors with a venture of focus and passion; and

WHEREAS, his commitment to figuring out how to maximize the best profitable outcome, from any scenario was exemplified through his discernment, patience, and perseverance; and

WHEREAS, the passing of our beloved Fredrick George Floyd Jones, is the absence of the body; we are assured he is in the presence of the Lord. For his modeling of faith consoles us to know that God will never leave us nor forsake us; and

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County of Cook 4th District community embraces the family; that the memories of his Earthly presence will encourage comfort in the time of sorrow and yet the celebration of his life...
