PROPOSED RESOLUTION
HONORING THE 80th BIRTHDAY OF THOMAS J. REYNOLDS
WHEREAS, Thomas J. Reynolds will soon celebrate his 80th birthday; and
WHEREAS, Thomas J. Reynolds tirelessly served the people of Cook County. He spent nearly four decades of his life as a Cook County Assistant Public Defender where he was well known and respected by his peers and his adversaries alike for his diligence and devotion to fighting for every client’s constitutional rights; and
WHEREAS, Thomas J. Reynolds proudly served his country in the United States Army; and
WHEREAS Thomas J. Reynolds has been a major force for good in the community; and
BE IT RESOLVED that the Cook County Board of Commissioners, on behalf of the 5.2 million residents of Cook County does hereby extend its warmest wishes and congratulations to Thomas J. Reynolds on the occasion of his 80th Birthday, and join all who have had the pleasure of his friendship in wishing him more years of richly deserved happiness; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this text be spread upon the official proceedings of this Honorable Body, and an official copy of same be presented to Thomas J. Reynolds to commemorate this joyous occasion.
