Bachus was a 1994 graduate of Washburn University of Topeka with a Bachelor of Business Administration, received his Masters of Divinity Degree on June 4, 2011 and his Doctor of Ministry in preaching and Congregational leadership on June 13, 2015, both from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in Lombard, IL, and; WHEREAS, Rev. A RESOLUTION OF THE COOK COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS HONORING REVEREND REGINALD E. BACHUS

 

WHEREAS, Rev. Bachus became the 8th Pastor of the Friendship Baptist Church of Chicago, and;

 

WHEREAS, Rev. Bachus has been married to his wife Detra L. Bachus since 1982, and are the proud parents of two children, Rev. Reginald L. Bachus Jr. and Regina Bachus, and;

 

WHEREAS, Rev. WHEREAS, Rev. Bachus was the Executive Director of Austin Coming Together from 2012-2014, and;

 

WHEREAS, Rev. Bachus founded Friendship Community Development Corporation of Austin in July of 2011, and;

 

WHEREAS, Rev. Bachus has demonstrated an impenetrable commitment to his family, church and community.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Cook County Board of Commissioners to recognize Reverend Reginald E. Bachus for his lifelong achievement and the sincere appreciation of the President and the Cook County Board of Commissioners is extended to Reverend Reginald E. Bachus for his service to his neighborhood, community and church.
