Summary: This contract is for the purchase of a forestry tree truck that will replace a truck that is 19 years old. The forestry tree truck is utilized in clearing of downed trees due to storm damage and the removal of dead trees caused by the Emerald Ash Borer. This truck will also be used for the maintenance of live trees throughout Cook County.
Competitive bidding procedures were followed in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code. Sutton Ford, Inc. was the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder.
