Summary: This extension of a nonstandard specification hardware reseller contract will allow various using agencies to continue to purchase hardware products. Additional time is necessitated by a change in the Bureau of Technology’s hardware reseller procurement strategy. This will allow the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer and the Bureau of Technology to compete a new contract process, and an efficient transition to a new vendor.
This contract was awarded through a competitive reverse auction procedure in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code. More Direct was the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
