PROPOSED RESOLUTION
DONATION BY THE DR. WILLIE WILSON FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, the Dr. Willie Wilson Foundation (“Foundation”) is a registered not-for-profit corporation doing business in the State of Illinois and
WHEREAS, Foundation desires to donate to the Cook County Sheriff (“Sheriff”) a variety of sanitary napkins, valuing approximately $200,000 (hereinafter “Products”) for distribution detainees in the Cook County Department of Corrections (“CCDOC”); and
WHEREAS, Foundation has agreed to transfer the Products free and clear of all encumbrances and without any reimbursement or benefit to Foundation; and
WHEREAS, the Sheriff intends to distribute the Products to CCDOC detainees, in addition to those sanitary products purchased by the CCSO and distributed as a component of essential services provided to detainees;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Cook County Board of Commissioners, that Cook County Sheriff is hereby authorized to accept the Products donated on behalf of the Dr. Willie Wilson Foundation.
