PROPOSED RESOLUTION
HONORING AND CELEBRATING THE CONSECRATION OF BISHOP ELECT - RENALDO KYLES
WHEREAS, At the early age of seven despite many complaints from worshipers, Bishop Elect Renaldo Kyles sat in the pulpit every Sunday at Centennial Missionary Baptist Church with his pastor (the late) Dr. William Hudson; and
WHEREAS, Bishop Elect Renaldo Kyles grew up in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Simeon High School in 1990; and
WHEREAS, On November 3, 1993, God put Bishop Elect Renaldo Kyles back in the pulpit and from that day, he has been preaching and teaching the Word of God; and
WHEREAS, Bishop Elect Kyles is a family man and has been married to the beautiful LaKesha Kyles for 11 years and to this union they have a daughter Kayla Kyles; and
WHEREAS, Bishop Elect Kyles personal philosophy is "If I can help someone along the way then my living would not be in vain"; and
WHEREAS, Bishop Elect Kyles is a leader that is widely respected and revered for his BIG GENEROUS HEART, leadership, vision, dedication to teaching God's children, and his holistic approach to social changes in the community; and
WHEREAS, In April 2005, through Bishop Elect Renaldo Kyles innovative teaching style and special ability to cultivate a nurturing learning environment, he became the Director of Faith Base Initiatives for the Chicago Public Schools; and
WHEREAS, In December 2009, Bishop Elect started and developed the Safe Haven program in which the Chicago Public Schools partnered with the faith community to provide a Safe Haven for students during the breaks. The program started with 30 Church's and has grown to over 100 Church's citywide; and
WHEREAS, In August 2014, God ordained the idea for Kingdom Builders Church (KBC) and on September 21, 2014, KBC was born under the guidance, leadership, and vision of Pastor Kyles. It was at that inaugural service where Pastor Kyles shared the vision that was given to him by God "The Recipe of an Effective Church."; and
