Summary: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests approval of the Proposed Completion of Consturction Approval Resolution for construction services in the Villages of Alsip, Crestwood, Orland Park and in the City of Oak Forest.
The improvements consisted of milling and resurfacing the existing pavement with hot-mix asphalt, recycling of the existing pozzolanic base, pavement patching, drainage additions and adjustments, landscaping, traffic control and protection, pavement marking and signing on Central Avenue-135th Street to Calumet Sag Road; various bridge repairs, epoxy crack injection, stone rip rap, removal and replacement of settled sidewalk, bridge deck waterproofing membrane, hot-mix asphalt overlay and traffic control and protection on Central Avenue over Tinley Creek; new traffic signal installation, traffic control and protection, pavement marking and signing on 151th Street at Jack Hille Middle School; correction of a chronic flooding problem, vertical adjustments of an existing drainage structure, outlet restrictor system, d...
