Summary: On 8/31/2018 DHSEM was notified that they were awarded the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) from Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) totaling $463,901.27 for the period of 10/1/2017 - 9/30/2019. Funds awarded under this agreement shall not exceed $463,901.27 and will follow the same terms and conditions as previous EMPG awards. The grant reimburses DHSEM for personnel on the corporate budget and for other costs associated with emergency preparedness for the County.end
