PROPOSED RESOLUTION
CONGRATULATING SCHAUMBURG POLICE CHIEF BILL WOLF
WHEREAS, George William “Bill” Wolf was recently appointed Police Chief in Schaumburg, IL; and,
WHEREAS, Bill Wolf has nearly 30 years of law enforcement experience; and
WHEREAS, Bill Wolf’s previous positions include serving in Elgin’s police department as a patrol officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Commander, and Deputy Police Chief; and,
WHEREAS, Bill Wolf experienced numerous awards while working in Elgin; and,
WHEREAS, Bill Wolf is credited with spearheading intelligence-led policing efforts that led to a 46 year low in crime reduction; and,
WHEREAS, Bill Wolf’s many years of experience and strong safety background make him an excellent choice to fill the role of Police Chief in Schaumburg; and,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Board of the Cook County Commissioners would like to congratulate Schaumburg Police Chief Bill Wolf on his recent appointment, wish him the most success, and offer any services we can provide; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that suitable copies of this resolution are presented to Police Chief Bill Wolf.
