Summary: The Office of the Chief Judge requests that Cook County exercise the first of two renewal options for contract 1890-17232. This contract provides staffing services for the security desk in the George N. Leighton Criminal Division Courthouse for the storage of cellular phones and other electronic devices. With certain exceptions, General Administrative Order No. 2013-05 prohibits such devices in the courthouse.
Competitive bidding procedures were followed in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code. Professional Dynamic Network, Inc. was the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder.
