Summary: The vendor will review, update, augment existing assessment reports, make recommendations for action, design, and provide construction administration services during the construction period of The John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital (JHS) mechanical and electrical infrastructure upgrades. The services will need to be conducted over multiple phases to minimize patient service disruptions; therefore, the project will require a high degree of coordination with various hospitals and non-hospital personnel and departments. 

 

The design package and priority are Mechanical and then Electrical. All work associated with this RFQ is required to meet all current applicable codes including the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) requirements for the affected space(s).

 

Request for Qualification (RFQ) procedures were followed in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code. Smith Seckman Reid, Inc., was selected based on established evaluation criteria.
