Summary: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests Approval of the Proposed Agreement for Reimbursement for the Chicago Southland Economic Development Corporation (CSEDC). The CSEDC will be the lead agency for testing new technologies project that will improve freight movements within intermodal rail yards, warehousing facilities, and potential direct connections between the two in the south suburban region. The County will pay for a share of the non-federal matching funds for the project costs incurred by the CSEDC and shall reimburse the CSEDC for its share of said cots, which is estimated to be $40,000.00.
