The service provides metal collections and recycling at various Cook County facilities. This is a revenue generating contract based on the percentage of revenue United Scrap Mental, Inc. will return Cook County for the collection of scrap mental.
This contract was awarded through a publicly advertised competitive bid in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code. United Scrap Mental, Inc. was the responsive and responsible bidder and submitted the bid with the highest percental revenue return (estimated $44,370.90) over the three year period of the contract) to Cook County.
