Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION TO COOK COUNTY WHEREAS, Midwest Moving and Storage, located in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, desires to donate furniture, specifically 250 workstations, to Cook County for use by the Cook County Department of Facilities Management; and WHEREAS, Midwest Moving has agreed to transfer the furniture free and clear of all encumbrances and without any reimbursement; and WHEREAS, Midwest and the Cook County Department of Facilities Management intend to use such furniture to furnish projects and address furniture needs at Offices of the Assessor, Comptroller, Budget, Chief Financial Officer, and Bureau of Technology. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Cook County Board of Commissioners, that Cook County is hereby authorized to accept this donation on behalf of the Cook County Department of Facilities Management, and shall transfer the furniture to Cook County.
