Summary: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests approval of the proposed Contract between the County and BCR Automotive Group, LLC d/b/a Roesch Ford in Bensenville, Illinois. This contract will provide Forestry Tree Trucks. These Forestry Tree Trucks are used in the performance of road maintenance activities. The Forestry Tree Trucks are used to remove dead trees, clear tree debris after severe storms and to trim tree branches hanging over roadways to keep the roads safe for the motoring public.
This contract is awarded pursuant to a publicly advertised competitive bidding process in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code. BCR Automotive, LLC d/b/a Roesch Ford was the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder.
