PROPOSED RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION APPOINTING JENNIFER (SIS) KILLEN THE SUPERINTENDENT OF HIGHWAYS
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists in the Office of Superintendent of Highways, Cook County, Illinois due to resignation of the incumbent Superintendent of Highways, John Yonan, P.E., which occurred on March 18, 2021, and
WHEREAS, the Cook County Board by resolution dated March 18, 2021, submitted the name of Jennifer (Sis) Killen, P.E., PTOE, to the Illinois Department of Transportation to take the examination for the Office of Superintendent of Highways, and
WHEREAS, Omer Osman, Acting Secretary of the Illinois Department of Transportation, certified to the County Clerk of Cook County on April 8, 2021, that Jennifer (Sis) Killen, P.E., PTOE, made a satisfactory grade and is eligible for appointment to said office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and the Cook County Board that Jennifer (Sis) Killen, P.E., PTOE, is hereby appointed, Superintendent of Highways for Cook County for a term of six (6) years effective April 15, 2021, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Cook County Board that the salary of the Superintendent of
Highways be fixed as follows:
