Summary:  The FEMA Public Assistance grant is a reimbursement grant that allows the County to recover costs associated with responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible costs are paid for by the County and submitted to FEMA for reimbursement. FEMA has issued additional guidance allowing for local governments to recoup mass vaccination costs and this amendment will allow the County to receive these additional funds in advance to assist in the payment of costs related to our vaccination distribution and administrative effort.
