Summary: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests approval of the proposed Contract Amendment between the County and C&G Construction Supply Company, Calumet City, Illinois. The Contract provides aggregate materials countywide. Aggregate materials play an important role in highway maintenance operations like pavement preservation, flood control, erosion control and storm sewer and structures repair work. The supply of Aggregate Materials are needed and been supplied as a basis through this Contract. This Contract was originally approved by the honorable Cook County Board on 3/21/2019 for a two-year period with one two-year renewal option.
