Summary:  The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests approval of the proposed contract amendment between the County and Sargents Equipment and Repair Services Inc., This contract provides for annual inspection, routine maintenance, and repair services on as- needed basis to the conveyor systems of the Salt Storage Domes. The Salt Domes are located at the three (3) Department of Transportation and Highways District 2, 4 and 5 field offices.

 

This contract was awarded pursuant to a publicly advertised competitive bid in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code.  Sargents Equipment and Repair Services, Inc. was the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder.
