PROPOSED RESOLUTION
COMMEMORATING DAVION GRIFFIN’S SERVICE TO COOK COUNTY AND RECOGNIZING HIS COMPLETION OF THE 2021 SUMMER ELECTRICAL INTERNSHIP
WHEREAS, Cook County Bureau of Asset Management has established a summer internship program, with the intention of providing opportunities for talented young individuals in Cook County to gain experience in the skilled trades; and
WHEREAS, Davion Griffin, a bright and hard-working senior at Simeon High School, entered the program in summer of 2021 as an electrical intern; and
WHEREAS, during his time of service, Davion learned the critical skills of electrical safety, circuiting, installation, and lent his positive attitude and readiness to learn to the professional team; and
WHEREAS, his presence and assistance this summer was appreciated by all who had the pleasure to work with him; and
WHEREAS, as described by his mentor, Davion is inquisitive, intelligent, a quick learner, and an asset to the electrical industry; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,by the President and Members of the Cook County Board of Commissioners that Cook County shall recognize the Davion Griffin’s service to Cook County and bestow upon him the heartiest best wishes for his future professional endeavors; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVEDthat this text be spread upon the official proceedings of this Honorable Body, and a suitable copy of the same be tendered to Davion Griffin to commemorate his service.
