PROPOSED RESOLUTION
MELISSA M. HANACEK, IN MEMORIAM
WHEREAS, Melissa Hanacek was the loving and adored wife to Timothy Hanacek; and
WHEREAS, Melissa Hanacek was cherished dearly by her parents James (Jr.) and Rosanne Monaco and her mother and father in law Ed and Sue Hanacek; and
WHEREAS, Melissa was best friend and sister to James (III) Monaco; and
WHEREAS, Melissa was a loved sister in law to Andrew, Gina, Eddie, and Kristy Hanacek and caring aunt to Andrew Joseph Hanacek and Kaitlyn, Kristen, and Michael Dutkin; and
WHEREAS, Melissa served in the important role of godmother of Michelle Dutkin, Nicholas Hanacek, and Samantha Thier; and
WHEREAS, Melissa was revered by countless other aunts, uncles, cousins, colleagues, friends and chosen family/cruisers; and
WHEREAS, Melissa had an accomplished career as an interior designer and planner and had extraordinary talent; and
WHEREAS, Melissa’s designs, centerpieces, and baked treats for celebrations and holidays were second to none; and
WHEREAS, Melissa made an enormous impression on all those she met with her kind, generous, and compassionate spirit; and
WHEREAS, Melissa was thoughtful and giving and always went above and beyond for her loved ones; and
WHEREAS, Melissa was so beloved among family and friends that her legacy should be memorialized and remembered; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of Cook County that the Board does hereby offer its deepest condolences and most heartfelt sympathy to the family and many friends of Melissa Hanacek, and joins them in sorrow at this time of loss; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this text be spread upon the official proceedings of this Honorable Body, and suitable copies be tendered to the family of Melissa Hanacek that her memory may be so honored and ever cherished.
