Summary: Requesting approval of an IGA between Community College District 510, commonly known as South Suburban College, and the County of Cook, a body politic and corporate, on behalf of the Cook County Sheriff’s Office for use of space in the building located at 16333 S Kilbourn Avenue, Oak Forest, IL 60452. The Sheriff’s office historically utilized space at South Suburban College for the Sheriff’s Training Academy rent gratis. South Suburban College is in the process of recouping their space at the Oak Forest campus to turn the facility into a professional development center and has asked the Sheriff’s Office to begin paying rent to use the space. For the Sheriff’s Training Academy to continue operations, this IGA is necessary.
