Summary: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests approval of the proposed contract between the County and R. W. Dunteman Company, Addison, Illinois. The project is known as the County Line Road: Grand Avenue to Lake Street project which includes intersection improvements. The improvements will be done at the exit ramp of Tollway I-294 at County Line Road. The work to be constructed will be done by others, with pavement reconstruction and rehabilitation, culvert extensions, drainage improvements, street lighting, and all other work as required to complete the improvements.
The vendor was selected pursuant to a publicly advertised Invitation for Bids (IFB) in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code. R. W. Dunteman Company was the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder.
