Summary: This amendment to increase and extend Cook County’s contract with LANSA will provide application development, maintenance and support for the majority of the Court’s critical line of business applications. The contract provides for software updates, new software releases and telephone technical support.
LANSA’s development language is proprietary and is not supplied or supported by any other provider. Over 90 percent of the Court’s applications are developed using LANSA, the language used by the Court to re-develop its applications away from the AS/400 and Mainframe platform.
The original contract was a Sole Source Procurement pursuant to Section 34-139 of the Cook County Procurement Code.
