Competitive bidding procedures were followed in accordance with the Cook County Procurement Code.  United Scrap Metal, Inc. was responsive and responsible and submitted the bid with the highest percentage revenue return (estimated $44,379.90 $109,375.00 over the period of the contract) to Cook County.
