Bedore was the loving and adored husband of Judy Bedore, and WHEREAS, Edward J. Bedore was the loving father of David (Julie) Bedore, Mary (Dr. Gary Moeller), Bedore, Sharon (Dr. John) Kwedar, and Bridget (Jordan Polansky) Bedore, and WHEREAS, Edward J. Bedore was the beloved grandfather of 7 grandchildren, Dr. Katie (Dr. Taylor) Conklin, Annie (Dan) Williams, Ben (Emily) Kwedar, Judy Kwedar, Maggie, Jack, and Connor Bedore; and 4 great-grandchildren, and WHEREAS, Edward J. Bedore served as the President of All Saints Credit Union, the Budget Director for the City of Chicago, a Member of the Chicago Board of Trade, Treasurer of Chicago Transit Authority, Chief Financial Officer for the City of Chicago and played an integral role in the development of Millennium Park, and WHEREAS, Edward J. EDWARD J. BEDORE, IN MEMORIAM

WHEREAS, Almighty God in His infinite wisdom has called Edward J. Bedore from our midst, and

WHEREAS, Edward J. Bedore was the loving and adored husband of Judy Bedore, and

WHEREAS, Edward J. Bedore was the loving father of David (Julie) Bedore, Mary (Dr. Gary Moeller), Bedore, Sharon (Dr. John) Kwedar, and Bridget (Jordan Polansky) Bedore, and

WHEREAS, Edward J. Bedore was the beloved grandfather of 7 grandchildren, Dr. Katie (Dr. Taylor) Conklin, Annie (Dan) Williams, Ben (Emily) Kwedar, Judy Kwedar, Maggie, Jack, and Connor Bedore; and 4 great-grandchildren, and

WHEREAS, Edward J. WHEREAS, Edward J. Bedore, after retirement, was awarded Springfield Rotary's Paul Harris medal, was a board member for Catholic Charities, served as Treasurer for St. Patrick's Catholic School, and was a member of the Illinois Procurement Policy Board since its inception in 1995, and

WHEREAS, Edward J. Bedore proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, and

WHEREAS, all who knew him will attest that Edward J. Bedore was a kind and compassionate man, virtuous of character and gentle in spirit, admired and respected by his many friends and neighbors, and dearly loved by his family, now therefore

BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Cook County that the Board does hereby offer its deepest condolences and most heartfelt sympathy to the family and many friends of Edward J. Bedore and joins them in sorrow at this time of loss, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this text be spread upon the official proceedings of this Honorable Body, and a suitable copy of same be tendered to the family of Edward J. Bed...
