Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION ROCHELLE TRENI, COMMENDATION AND RECOGNITION OF COMMUNITY IMPACT WHEREAS, Rochelle Treni has served as a dedicated employee at the Township of Schaumburg since January 23, 2017, currently serving as a Lead Program Specialist in the Welfare Services Department; and WHEREAS, Rochelle is an integral and valued member of the Welfare Services team, helping to keep the Department organized; and WHEREAS, for her dedication to upholding the Township's values of accountability, integrity, equity, excellence, and community, Rochelle was awarded Schaumburg Township Employee of the Year in 2021; and WHEREAS, Rochelle also works the front desk of the food pantry and consistently comes up with new ideas to improve the food pantry experience for everyone, ensuring that it is a welcoming and safe place to shop; and WHEREAS, Rochelle not only makes sure clients' food needs are met, but focuses on making their experience one of dignity and love, working to make people feel seen...

PROPOSED RESOLUTION

 

ROCHELLE TRENI, COMMENDATION AND RECOGNITION OF COMMUNITY IMPACT

 

WHEREAS, Rochelle Treni has served as a dedicated employee at the Township of Schaumburg since January 23, 2017, currently serving as a Lead Program Specialist in the Welfare Services Department; and

 

WHEREAS, Rochelle is an integral and valued member of the Welfare Services team, helping to keep the Department organized; and

 

WHEREAS, for her dedication to upholding the Township’s values of accountability, integrity, equity, excellence, and community, Rochelle was awarded Schaumburg Township Employee of the Year in 2021; and

 

WHEREAS, Rochelle also works the front desk of the food pantry and consistently comes up with new ideas to improve the food pantry experience for everyone, ensuring that it is a welcoming and safe place to shop; and

 

WHEREAS, Rochelle not only makes sure clients’ food needs are met, but focuses on making their experience one of dignity and love, working to make people feel seen, heard, and understood; and

 

WHEREAS, she also ensures that she is an available resource for food pantry volunteers, going above and beyond to train them, answers any questions, and makes volunteers feel needed; and

 

WHEREAS, Rochelle consistently demonstrates her caring, compassionate heart in everything she does, being readily available to both to her clients and co-workers with a contagiously positive energy;

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that by the Board of Commissioners of Cook County that the Board does hereby offer its commendation to Rochelle Treni for all her admirable work to help, care, and assist the Schaumburg Township community; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this text be spread upon the official proceedings of this Honorable Body, and suitable copies be tendered to Rochelle Treni in recognition of her contributions to the Schaumburg Township.
