Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION HONORING THE LIFE OF, ERIN CHAVETTA RENEA NELSON, IN MEMORIAM WHEREAS, it has pleased Almighty God to call from our midst our beloved sister, Erin Chavetta Renea Nelson, the cherished daughter of Marisa Scott-Bryant and Eric Nelson, who was born on March 9, 1993, and transitioned to her eternal resting place on April 3rd, 2024; and WHEREAS, Erin was the second sibling of four, having shared her love and light with her sisters Samantha Scott, Gabrielle Scott, and her brothers Eric Nelson Jr. and Terick Nelson; and WHEREAS, Erin attended and graduated from Rich Central High School in May of 2011, demonstrating her commitment to education and personal growth; and WHEREAS, for the past 6 years, Erin diligently served as a Pharmacy Driver for Advocate Home Care Products, Inc., embodying qualities of hard work, dedication, and a passion for aiding others; and WHEREAS, Erin's radiant spirit, effortless beauty, and boundless love touched the hearts of all who knew her...

HONORING THE LIFE OF, ERIN CHAVETTA RENEA NELSON, IN MEMORIAM

WHEREAS, it has pleased Almighty God to call from our midst our beloved sister, Erin Chavetta Renea Nelson, the cherished daughter of Marisa Scott-Bryant and Eric Nelson, who was born on March 9, 1993, and transitioned to her eternal resting place on April 3rd, 2024; and

WHEREAS, Erin was the second sibling of four, having shared her love and light with her sisters Samantha Scott, Gabrielle Scott, and her brothers Eric Nelson Jr. and Terick Nelson; and

WHEREAS, Erin attended and graduated from Rich Central High School in May of 2011, demonstrating her commitment to education and personal growth; and

WHEREAS, Erin cherished her family above all else, finding joy in creating memorable experiences and traveling the world with her loved ones, embodying a zest for life that inspired all those around her; and

WHEREAS, Erin will forever be remembered and deeply missed by her mother Marisa Scott-Bryant and stepfather Ulysis Bryant, her father Eric Nelson, her siblings, her grandmothers Cecelia Scott and Loretta Nelson, her great-grandmother Annie Mitchell, her precious nephew Carter Lester, and a multitude of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that on behalf of the President, the members of the Cook County Board of Commissioners and the 5.2 million residents of Cook County, this legislative body hereby extend our heartfelt condolences and come together to honor the memory of Erin Chavetta Renea Nelson, celebrating her life and the joy she brought to all who knew her; and
