Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION HONORING THE MEMORY OF JOSEPHINE MARY REGAN WHEREAS, We are here to honor and recognize Josephine Mary Regan born on May 31, 1964 to Bridie and Christie Sheerin in Bruree, County Limerick, Ireland; and WHEREAS, Josie will be remembered by her husband Cyril and her cherished son David as well as her loving mother Bridie in Bruree and her mother-in-law Mary T. in Roscommon; and WHEREAS, Recognition is given to Josie's caregivers who lovingly watched over her, especially Nancy Bunce who is one of a kind, as well as Judy Petrauskiene, Eileen Nugent, Mary Henry, and the countless doctors and nurses who supported her during her battles; and WHEREAS, We hold space for her family and friends and remember the countless joyful and cherished memories of times spent with Josie in laughter and love; and WHEREAS, May the people who take on the important role of coaching the youth, a cause close to Josie's heart continue to do so selflessly by nurturing and mentoring young a...

HONORING THE MEMORY OF JOSEPHINE MARY REGAN

 

WHEREAS, We are here to honor and recognize Josephine Mary Regan born on May 31, 1964 to Bridie and Christie Sheerin in Bruree, County Limerick, Ireland; and

 

WHEREAS, Josie will be remembered by her husband Cyril and her cherished son David as well as her loving mother Bridie in Bruree and her mother-in-law Mary T. in Roscommon; and

 

WHEREAS, Recognition is given to Josie’s caregivers who lovingly watched over her, especially Nancy Bunce who is one of a kind, as well as Judy Petrauskiene, Eileen Nugent, Mary Henry, and the countless doctors and nurses who supported her during her battles; and

 

WHEREAS, We hold space for her family and friends and remember the countless joyful and cherished memories of times spent with Josie in laughter and love; and

WHEREAS, We send strength to those who silently battle against cancer and may they recover; and

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cook County Board of Commissioners does hereby Honor Josephine Mary Regan, a devoted wife and mother, a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and dearest friend in both here in the County and in Ireland; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Josephine Mary Regan as a token of our deepest sympathies and to acknowledge the profound gratitude and respect we hold for her contributions.
