18-4528 1 Foxconn ResolutionResolutionPROPOSED RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION OPPOSING THE REDUCTION OF AIR AND WATER POLLUTION STANDARDS IN WISCONSIN FOR THE PROPOSED FOXCONN DEVELOPMENT WHEREAS, Foxconn Technology Group (“Foxconn”) is a manufacturer of computer, communication and electronics; and WHEREAS, Foxconn is constructing a fabrication plant in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin to manufacture LCD glass panels. The Cook County Treasurer shall create a Cook County Board of Review Operation and Administrative Fund, which shall be subject to appropriation by the Board, to be used to offset the costs incurred by the Board of Review in performing the additional duties required to fairly and impartially review the assessments of all property within Cook County. The Treasurer shall allocate any revenue incurred from the collection of fees by the Board of Review from bulk users to the fund.
