PROPOSED RESOLUTION
RECOGNIZING KENNETH AND ANGELA TOWNSEND, FRANCHISEE OWNERS OF ROBEKS JUICE, AS THE BLACK HISTORY MONTH HONOREE FOR COOK COUNTY'S 17TH DISTRICT
WHEREAS, Cook County Commissioner Sean M. Morrison has nominated Kenneth and Angela Townsend, franchisee owners of Robeks Juice, as distinguished business owners and black leaders in the 17th District of Cook County; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth and Angela are health-conscious individuals who prioritize fitness and mindful consumption, and were therefore naturally inclined to seek out business options aligned with their values; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth and Angela's goal is to offer personalized guidance and ensure that every customer can find options that align with their individual needs; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth and Angela went on to create a space that defied the notion of "fast food", serving customers nutritious and delicious options in a timely manner; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth and Angela opened Robeks in the Village of Orland Park in June of 2023, providing hand-crafted smoothies, signature juice blends, and premium toasts made with the freshest ingredients, ensuring unparalleled taste, quality, and nutrition; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth and Angela are proud to work with their staff, witnessing their growth and dedication, teaching them how to effectively delegate tasks, helping them understand the importance of enjoying a healthy meal and empowering them to develop both personally and professionally; and
WHEREAS, Being an integral and active part of the community is their way of making a positive impact on their neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth and Angela find great fulfillment in engaging with the community and giving back in a personalized way by actively supporting local initiatives such as little league teams, sponsorships, and other community events; and
