Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BLACK COUNTY OFFICIALS WHEREAS, Cook County Commissioner Stanley Moore has been elected President of the National Association of Black County Officials (NABCO), an organization representing African American officials in more than 3,000 counties, boroughs, and parishes across the country; and WHEREAS, Commissioner Moore's election to this prestigious role is a testament to his leadership and longstanding dedication to public service; and WHEREAS, Commissioner Moore currently serves as the Chairman of Transportation, Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement on the Cook County Board of Commissioners, where he has been a steadfast advocate for all communities he represents; and WHEREAS, as the newly elected President of NABCO, Commissioner Moore will lead efforts to address the unique challenges facing Black communities within America's counties, boroughs, and parishes through advocacy, education, and resource collaboration. NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BLACK COUNTY OFFICIALS

 

WHEREAS, Cook County Commissioner Stanley Moore has been elected President of the National Association of Black County Officials (NABCO), an organization representing African American officials in more than 3,000 counties, boroughs, and parishes across the country; and

 

WHEREAS, Commissioner Moore's election to this prestigious role is a testament to his leadership and longstanding dedication to public service; and

 

WHEREAS, Commissioner Moore currently serves as the Chairman of Transportation, Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement on the Cook County Board of Commissioners, where he has been a steadfast advocate for all communities he represents; and

 

WHEREAS, as the newly elected President of NABCO, Commissioner Moore will lead efforts to address the unique challenges facing Black communities within America’s counties, boroughs, and parishes through advocacy, education, and resource collaboration.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cook County Board of Commissioners, along with Board President Toni Preckwinkle, hereby congratulates Commissioner Stanley Moore on his election as President of the National Association of Black County Officials and expresses confidence in his ability to advance the mission of NABCO; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Commissioner Stanley Moore as a symbol of our admiration and support for his continued dedication to public service and leadership.
