PROPOSED RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION CERTIFYING NAME JENNIFER (SIS) KILLEN TO TAKE THE EXAMINATION FOR SUPERINTENDENT OF HIGHWAYS
WHEREAS, a vacancy will exist in the Office of Superintendent of Highways, Cook County, Illinois, due to the resignation of the incumbent Superintendent of Highways, Mr. John Yonan, P.E., which will occur on March 18, 2021, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with 605 ILCS 5/5-201, the County Board must certify to the Illinois Department of Transportation a list of names of not more than five persons, residents of the State, who hold a currently valid certificate of registration as a registered professional engineer in Illinois, who are candidates for the office, and who meet the qualifications provided therein.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners of Cook County does hereby submit Jennifer (Sis) Killen, P.E., PTOE, of South Hamlin Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60655; Registered Professional Engineer License No. 062057590 (Original License Issue Date 6/10/2004) as Cook County’s candidate to take the examination for Superintendent of Highways of Cook County; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk is hereby directed to transmit two (2) certified originals of this resolution to the Illinois Department of Transportation, Division of Highways, through its District Engineer’s Office at Schaumburg, Illinois.
