PROPOSED RESOLUTION
CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF BISHOP REYNALDO KYLES
WHEREAS, Bishop Reynaldo Kyles, was born on January 19, 1972 in Chicago, Illinois to James Earl Kyles and Ethel Kyles. He was the youngest of four boys. He graduated from Simeon Career Academy High School. He attended University of Iowa College and Moody Bible Institute; and
WHEREAS, Bishop Reynaldo Kyles, led a successful career as Area Manager, Sports World Inc., CEO for Bridging the GAP Consulting, and Director of Faith Based Initiatives at Chicago Public Schools. He is recognized as a leader in coordinating and organizing pastors to advocate for resources and services within their communities; and
WHEREAS, Bishop Reynaldo Kyles has been a part of ministry for over 25 years. His BIG GENEROUS HEART was developed at an early age at Centennial MBC, under the leadership of his pastor, the late Dr. William Hudson. On November 3, 1993, God placed him in the pulpit to preach under the leadership of the late Pastor Gregory Macon, from that day forward, he has been preaching and teaching the gospel. Bishop Reynaldo Kyles was also mentored by the late Reverend Clay Evans, and other prominent faith-based leaders. He was licensed and ordained by Bishop Larry Trotter, Pastor of Sweet Holy Spirit; and
WHEREAS, Bishop Reynaldo Kyles birthed Kingdom Builders Church (KBC) in August 2014, led by God to teach God's children and address social issues in the community through holistic approaches. Under the leadership of Bishop Kyles Kingdom Builders Church has provided food and toy giveaways, rental and utility services, afterschool programs, and other services; and
WHEREAS, Bishop Reynaldo Kyles dedication and love to serve the residents of Cook County, is recognized in the community for his advocacy efforts.
