APPROVAL OF SALARY SCHEDULES NEGOTIATED BETWEEN THE CHIEF JUDGE OF THE CIRCUIT COURT OF COOK COUNTY AND THE AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME), COUNCIL 31, LOCALS 1767 & 3696 AFL-CIO, REPRESENTING SUPPORT STAFF IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ADULT AND JUVENILE PROBATION, SOCIAL SERVICE, AND FORENSIC CLINICAL SERVICES, AND JUVENILE TEMPORARY DETENTION CENTER, INVESTIGATIVE PERSONNEL AND CASEWORKERS

WHEREAS, the Illinois Public Employee Labor Relations Act (5 ILCS 315/1 et seq.) has established regulations regarding collective bargaining with a union; and

WHEREAS, the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County and the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), Council 31, Local 1767, 3696, AFL-CIO, Juvenile Temporary Detention Center, representing Investigative Personnel and Caseworkers will expire November 30, 2025 and an Extension Agreement has been entered into between the Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County and the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), Council 31, Local 1767 & 3696, AFL-CIO, representing support staff in the Department of Adult and Juvenile Probation, Social Service, and Forensic Clinical Services, and Juvenile Temporary Detention Center, Investigative personnel and Caseworkers, to extend the term of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for the period of December 1, 2025 through November 30, 2027; and
