Summary: The Department of Transportation and Highways respectfully requests approval of the proposed improvement resolution to replace all traffic signal equipment at the specified intersections in the City of Palos Hills, and the Villages of Palatine, Schaumburg, and Tinley Park in Cook County. The project scope includes providing one traffic signal head per travel lane, 12” LED lenses, illuminated street name signs, pedestrian countdown signals, accessible pedestrian signal (APS) pushbuttons, and ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps.
