He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men" (Proverbs 22:29), guiding us in diligent leadership and excellence. HONORING THE REMARKABLE ACHIEVEMENTS OF APOSTLE CARL WHITE JR., FOUNDER OF VICTORY CHRISTIAN INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES

 

WHEREAS, Apostle Carl White Jr. has faithfully and selflessly served the Victory Christian International Ministries community for many years, exemplifying unwavering spiritual leadership, mentorship, and ministry that strengthen families, enrich the church, and extend Christ’s love to all in need; and as it is written, “Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men” (Proverbs 22:29), guiding us in diligent leadership and excellence.


WHEREAS, Apostle White Jr. has consistently demonstrated servant leadership, guiding the church and its members through seasons of challenge and growth with wisdom, compassion, and biblical discernment; and as Paul urged, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men” (Colossians 3:23-24).


WHEREAS, his ministry has emphasized the importance of community service, encouraging church members to engage in acts of love, outreach, and service to neighbors near and far;
Whereas, Apostle White Jr. has fostered a culture of holistic wellness, promoting physical health as faithful stewardship of the body God has given us, and modeling a balanced life of faith, work, and rest;


WHEREAS, he has spoken and demonstrated the value of financial stewardship and wellness, teaching prudent financial practices, generosity, and accountability to support families, ministries, and seniors, especially in times of financial uncertainty.


WHEREAS, his leadership has empowered seniors and vulnerable populations in the community to access resources, maintain dignity, and remain engaged in church life and civic participation, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met;

 

WHEREAS,, his commitment to education, mentorship, and youth development has inspired younger generations to pursue purpose, integrity, and service to others;

 

WHEREAS, Apostle White Jr.’s character-marked by integrity, humility, courage, and steadfast faith-has served as a bright beacon to the community, reinforcing the principles of love, justice, and service;


WHEREAS,, he has led with a commitment to civil rights, advocating for equal dignity and opportunity for all people, and encouraging the church to be a voice for justice in the public square;

 

WHEREAS, he has provided guidance to those seeking to lead, mentoring emerging leaders and equipping them with principles of servant leadership, integrity, and accountability;


WHEREAS he has fostered understanding about the role of clergy in civic life, helping the congregation navigate the relationship between faith, public policy, and education so that members receive timely educational tools about programs and resources when they need them most;


WHEREAS,  recognizing his years of faithful service, leadership, and impact, the community seeks to honor him with a formal resolution that acknowledges his contributions and expresses appreciation on behalf of the church, the broader community, and civic leaders alike;


WHEREAS, the church honors his efforts in fostering a culture of service, outreach, and compassion that extends beyond church walls into the neighborhoods and civic life of the community;


NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the governing body of Victory Christian International Ministries, and by all those assembled in fellowship and partnership with Apostle Carl White Jr., that;


BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Apostle Carl White Jr. is hereby commended for exemplary ministry, spiritual leadership, and enduring commitment to serving God, the church, and the community.

 

THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, on this day, Saturday, September 20, 2025, by Dr. Kisha McCaskill, Cook County Commissioner, that Cook County Commissioner Dr. Kisha E. McCaskill recognizes and honors Apostle Carl White Jr.
