PROPOSED RESOLUTION
HONORING K + P ADVISORY, LLC DURING WOMEN'S SMALL BUSINESS MONTH
WHEREAS, October is recognized nationally as Women’s Small Business Month, celebrating the vital contributions of woman-owned enterprises to our economy and communities; and
WHEREAS, K + P Advisory, LLC is a distinguished woman-owned consulting firm headquartered in Cook County’s Second District and led by Ayse Kalaycioglu, a seasoned professional with decades of experience in owner’s representation, project management, and strategic advisory services; and
WHEREAS, K + P Advisory has emerged as a trusted partner to governments, nonprofits, and private sector clients across the state, providing tailored strategies that bridge the gap between policy, people, and progress; and
WHEREAS, K + P Advisory is proud to be certified as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) and is deeply committed to advancing equity through inclusive strategic planning and tangible community impact; and
WHEREAS, K + P Advisory leads high-impact projects at the intersection of infrastructure, health, and economic development for key institutions-including work with the Illinois Department of Transportation, Chicago Park District, IFF, and Erie Family Health Centers; and
WHEREAS, in a testament to its credibility and commitment to civic excellence, K + P Advisory was selected as the Owner’s Representative for the 2024 Democratic National Convention Host Committee, the first such convention hosted in Chicago in nearly three decades; and
WHEREAS, the team at K + P Advisory draws on deep expertise in public policy, infrastructure, real estate strategy, and organizational change management to create solutions that are both innovative and implementable; and
WHEREAS, K + P Advisory has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to mentorship and creating pathways for advancement by elevating underrepresented voices and empowering women and diverse professionals within the consulting industry and beyond; and
WHEREAS, during Women’s Small Business Month, it is fitting to recognize the contributions of woman-owned enterprises like K + P Advisory that exemplify leadership, resilience, and service to our community; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cook County Board of Commissioners does hereby commend and honor K + P Advisory, LLC for its outstanding professional achievements, profound community impact, and exemplary leadership as a woman-owned small business; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to K + P Advisory, LLC as a token of the Board’s recognition and appreciation.
