WHEREAS, Vincent Michael Roberson Jr. was a devoted son, beloved brother, trusted confidant, loyal friend, accomplished professional, and cherished member of his community whose life reflected excellence, integrity, and purpose; and WHEREAS, Vincent demonstrated exceptional discipline, endurance, passion, stability, and perseverance throughout his life, serving as an example of what can be achieved through hard work, determination, and faith; and WHEREAS, as a student-athlete and scholar at Eastern Illinois University, Vincent pursued academic excellence while developing the leadership, teamwork, and resilience that would define his character throughout his life; and WHEREAS, Vincent earned both a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering and a Master of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, exemplifying a commitment to lifelong learning, innovation, and professional growth; and WHE...

HONORING THE LIFE, LEGACY, AND CONTRIBUTIONS OF VINCENT MICHAEL ROBERSON JR.

 

WHEREAS, Vincent Michael Roberson Jr. was a devoted son, beloved brother, trusted confidant, loyal friend, accomplished professional, and cherished member of his community whose life reflected excellence, integrity, and purpose; and

 

WHEREAS, Vincent demonstrated exceptional discipline, endurance, passion, stability, and perseverance throughout his life, serving as an example of what can be achieved through hard work, determination, and faith; and

 

WHEREAS, as a student-athlete and scholar at Eastern Illinois University, Vincent pursued academic excellence while developing the leadership, teamwork, and resilience that would define his character throughout his life; and

 

WHEREAS, Vincent earned both a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering and a Master of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, exemplifying a commitment to lifelong learning, innovation, and professional growth; and

 

WHEREAS, Vincent excelled professionally as a Project Manager for VMI Contractors, where he was respected for his leadership, technical expertise, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to achieving excellence in every endeavor; and.

 

WHEREAS, Vincent was known by family, friends, colleagues, and all who knew him as one of the most supportive, kind-hearted, genuine, and pure-spirited individuals they had ever encountered; and

 

WHEREAS, Vincent was a loving family man who treasured his relationships with family and friends, placing the needs of others before his own and demonstrating selflessness through his actions, compassion, and unwavering support; and

 

WHEREAS, Vincent was a goal-oriented and highly motivated individual who remained focused on building a meaningful life while maintaining humility, staying true to his values, and quietly handling his responsibilities with grace and dignity; and

 

WHEREAS, Vincent believed in the power of community and understood the importance of uplifting others, creating lasting bonds through friendship, mentorship, encouragement, and genuine care for those around him; and

 

WHEREAS, Vincent's character embodied the highest ideals of leadership, demonstrating that true greatness is measured not by titles or accolades, but by the positive impact one has on the lives of others;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Dr. Kisha E. McCaskill, 5th District Cook County Commissioner, does hereby honor and celebrate the life and legacy of Vincent Michael Roberson Jr. for his extraordinary character, academic achievements, professional accomplishments, unwavering devotion to family and community, and his lasting example of leadership, kindness, and excellence.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Vincent's memory shall remain a source of inspiration to all who knew him, reminding us to lead with compassion, pursue excellence with determination, cherish our loved ones, and leave every person and every place better than we found them.

 

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that this Resolution be presented to the family of Vincent Michael Roberson Jr. as a symbol of gratitude, respect, and remembrance, recognizing a life that was truly well-lived and a legacy that will endure for generations to come.
