Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION WHEREAS Almighty God in His infinite wisdom has called Jean T. Lee from our midst, and WHEREAS Jean T. Lee was the beloved wife of Raymond Lee since 1960; and WHEREAS Jean T. Lee was the loving mother of son Sidney, daughters Bernice, Serena and Medora; and WHEREAS Jean T. Lee was the cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren; and WHEREAS Jean T. Lee was born on February 8, 1933 in Guangzhou China to Mr. and Mrs. Pon Gin and siblings Linda and Frank, who preceded her in death; and WHEREAS Jean T. Lee immigrated to the United States at 16 years old to escape communism; and WHEREAS Jean T. Lee was known for her generosity which will live on at the Chinese American Museum of Chicago that she assisted in establishing in 2005 along with her husband Raymond; and WHEREAS all who knew her will attest that Jean T. Lee, was a kind and compassionate woman, virtuous of character and gentle in spirit, admired and respected by her friends and neighbors, and dearly l...

WHEREAS Almighty God in His infinite wisdom has called Jean T. Lee from our midst, and

 

WHEREAS Jean T. Lee was the beloved wife of Raymond Lee since 1960; and

 

WHEREAS Jean T. Lee was the loving mother of son Sidney, daughters Bernice, Serena and Medora; and

 

WHEREAS Jean T. Lee was the cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren; and

BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Cook County that the Board does hereby offer its deepest condolences and most heartfelt sympathy to the family and many friends of Jean T. Lee and joins them in sorrow at this time of loss, and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this text be spread upon the official proceedings of this Honorable Body, and a suitable copy of same be tendered to the family of Jean T. Lee, that her memory may be so honored and ever cherished.
