Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION RESOLUTION HONORING THE 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF ZETA PHI BETA SORORITY, INCORPORATED- ZETA TAU ZETA GRADUATE CHAPTER WHEREAS, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Zeta Tau Zeta Graduate Chapter celebrates its Diamond Anniversary on June 20, 2026, commemorating sixty years of service and impact throughout the City of Chicago and Cook County; and WHEREAS, chartered on June 20, 1966, by fifty-seven visionary women known as "The Fabulous 57," Zeta Tau Zeta is the oldest graduate chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated in the State of Illinois, with four charter members remaining active today; and WHEREAS, the Chapter's Diamond Anniversary represents not only a milestone in longevity but also a remarkable legacy of sustained commitment to advancing educational opportunity, strengthening communities, and improving the quality of life for residents throughout Cook County; and WHEREAS, the Chapter has upheld the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and ...

RESOLUTION HONORING THE 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF ZETA PHI BETA SORORITY, INCORPORATED- ZETA TAU ZETA GRADUATE CHAPTER

WHEREAS, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Zeta Tau Zeta Graduate Chapter celebrates its Diamond Anniversary on June 20, 2026, commemorating sixty years of service and impact throughout the City of Chicago and Cook County; and

WHEREAS, through scholarships and educational programming, Zeta Tau Zeta has supported college-bound students, expanding opportunities for academic success throughout the Chicagoland area; and

WHEREAS, the Chapter sponsors several youth auxiliaries, providing leadership development, mentorship, and community service opportunities for girls ages four through eighteen; and

WHEREAS, Zeta Tau Zeta has supported residents through health and wellness initiatives, domestic violence awareness efforts, veteran outreach programs, community resource fairs, and partnerships with organizations serving families and vulnerable populations; and

WHEREAS, the Chapter has contributed thousands of volunteer service hours and raised thousands of dollars in support of charitable and community-based organizations, including March of Dimes, the American Cancer Societ...
