WHEREAS, Landon Alexander Wallace was born on April 12, 1989, at Westlake Community Hospital, in Chicago, Illinois, to Dr. Lance Wallace and Venishia Watt, and was baptized at St. Stephens Evangelical Church, grounding his life in faith, family, and community; and

WHEREAS, Landon Alexander Wallace was a Chicago native whose professional and community contributions reflected leadership, entrepreneurship, and service, strengthening the cultural and civic landscape of Cook County and beyond; and

WHEREAS, through his academic and extracurricular pursuits, Landon demonstrated discipline, teamwork, and leadership, including notable achievement as a student-athlete and continued personal development through higher education at Southern Illinois University Carbondale; and

WHEREAS, Landon Alexander Wallace applied his organizational and leadership skills to student and community programming, including large-scale event planning and cultural engagement initiatives that fostered connection, inclusion, and shared experiences; and

WHEREAS, professionally known as "DJ Commando," Landon Alexander Wallace built a respected career in the entertainment industry, using his platform to contribute to cultural programming, civic events, and community engagement throughout Chicago, Cook County, and beyond; and
