PROPOSED RESOLUTION
RECOGNIZING HYATT MAGAZINE’S THIRTEENTH YEAR OF PUBLICATION
WHEREAS “Hyatt” in the Arabic Language means “Life”; and,
WHEREAS Hyatt Magazine was established in 2012 to fulfill the need for a strong media outlet for the American Arab community; and,
WHEREAS Hyatt Magazine is a free social and cultural magazine, featuring events, entertainment, lifestyle, fashion, business, leisure, and lore; and,
WHEREAS Hyatt Magazine’s events and news guide serves the Middle Eastern community in the Chicagoland, Northern Indiana, and Milwaukee area; and,
WHEREAS Hyatt Magazine connects Middle-Eastern communities by strengthening social, cultural, and economic aspects; and
WHEREAS Hyatt Magazine assists in building social and economic bridges; and,
WHEREAS Hyatt Magazine is published monthly in an informative and positive manner; and,
WHEREAS Hyatt Magazine’s mission is to be a distinguished resource for quality reporting, analysis, and information.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Cook County Commissioner Sean M. Morrison and the Cook County Board of Commissioners, on behalf of the residents of Cook County, hereby congratulates Hyatt Magazine for thirteen years of publication, and extends its heartfelt wish for their continued success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to as an expression of the Board’s admiration and appreciation for Hyatt Magazine’s extraordinary accomplishments
