PROPOSED RESOLUTION
MICHAEL MARANO, IN MEMORIAM
WHEREAS, Almighty God in His infinite wisdom has called Michael Marano from our midst; and
WHEREAS, Michael Marano was the beloved husband of the late Carole “Sis” (nee Kozanecki); and
WHEREAS, Michael Marano was the loving father of Michael, Ret. CPD, (Julie), David (Gina); and Karen (Charles) Caruso, and
WHEREAS, Michael Marano was loving grandfather of Michael (Jessica), Kristin, Nicole, CPD (fiancé Scott DiGrazia), Matthew, Lindsay, Anthony (Erica), Paul, Gianna, Peter (Lauren), Gina, and Dominic; and
WHEREAS, Michael Marano was great-grandfather of Honour, Michael John, Finn, and Keaton, and
WHEREAS, Michael Marano was the loving son of the late Rose and late John Marano; and
WHEREAS, Michael Marano was the fond brother of Orlando “Earl” (the late Betty), the late Santo “Dago” (Donna) and the late Rose (August) Pintaro; and
WHEREAS, Michael Marano was cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, Michael Marano touched the lives of many and will be remembered by all who knew him; and
WHEREAS, all who knew him will attest that Michael Marano was a kind and compassionate man, virtuous of character and gentle in spirit, admired and respected by his many friends and neighbors, and dearly loved by his family; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of Cook County that the Board does hereby offer its deepest condolences and most heartfelt sympathy to the family and many friends of Michael Marano, and joins them in sorrow at this time of loss; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this text be spread upon the official proceedings of this Honorable Body, and a suitable copy of same be tendered to the family of Michael Marano so that his memory may be so honored and ever cherished.end
