Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION CELEBRATING BISHOP JAMES SPRINGFIELD, JR.'S 80TH BIRTHDAY WHEREAS, Bishop James Springfield was born July 7, 1937 to James and Myria Bee Springfield in Boises, Mississippi, and was the oldest of 10 siblings and; WHEREAS, Bishop James Springfield graduated from Coleman High School Greenville, Mississippi in 1956 and attended senior prom with his wife of 59 years Barbara Evans Springfield, and; WHEREAS, Bishop James Springfield answered the call to the Ministry in 1983, call to pastor January 4th, 1987. He attended Chicago School of Ministries, a subsidiary of Oral Roberts University, Chicago Baptist Institute, International Bible College and Seminary, and he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies July 1, 1998, and; WHEREAS, Bishop James Springfield has been pastoring for 30 years and presently is the pastor of Greater Hope Baptist Ministries in Maywood, Il. CELEBRATING BISHOP JAMES SPRINGFIELD, JR.’S 80TH BIRTHDAY

 

WHEREAS, Bishop James Springfield was born July 7, 1937 to James and Myria Bee Springfield in Boises, Mississippi, and was the oldest of 10 siblings and;

 

WHEREAS, Bishop James Springfield graduated from Coleman High School Greenville, Mississippi in 1956 and attended senior prom with his wife of 59 years Barbara Evans Springfield, and;

 

WHEREAS, Bishop James Springfield answered the call to the Ministry in 1983, call to pastor January 4th, 1987. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Cook County Board of Commissioners to congratulate Bishop James Springfield for his 80th birthday and the sincere appreciation of the President and the Cook County Board of Commissioners is extended to Bishop James Springfield for his service to his church and the wider community
